Drag Racing - general discussion

I'm looking at running a drag racing event, it will be only open to the tc community.
My initial idea was to use rb4, fxo + xrt, and do a knock out style format and there will be some tc money for the winner.
What day + time would be best?
Do u think rb4, fxo + xrt would be good cars to use?
What do u think the entry fee should be, I was thinking about 1000.

FXR is the best drag car for me, but TBO could be nice !
500euros could be fine, well it's only for fun so 1000 could be too much.
With school, I say that sunday could be the best.. Wink

Yeh fxr is good, but its not too difficult to drag, because its 4wd and slicks where as fxo needs skill to drag Very Happy

I was thinking friday evening or sunday at the beginning of september Very Happy

500 would still make a nice prize fundso that is probably what it will be.

Sorry to bump this. Every team does some sort of event, maybe we can do one too. Drag seems good, All cars! Everyone starts with UF1 then XFG etc right to BF1.

Any takers on this?

sounds like a great idea, depends on how many people sign up depends on if we can do all the cars in one evening? or split it into heats and have finals or something like that? all depends on interest and numbers.

True, I know i'm kinder pushing this (events etc) but i really would like to do some team building. Works in real life if you have a full time job or part time job.

im fully up for running this event, just been waiting for a server for a little while, i would host a server but can never seem to get it to work Sad

Oh, how come? i'm not really tech minded when come to LFS Servers. (even know was admin on another server)
